Resentment in Leh and Jammu over KAS results | | | Early Times Report Leh, Oct 1: AS the whole country was discussing the verdict of Allahabad High court, here the KAS aspirants were more keeping eye on their results. With the announcement of Kashmir Administrative Service results, many aspirants were disappointe, saying this time also the JKPSC has not done the things well. Though most of the candidates in Valley were celebrating their success and here in Jammu and Ladakh the same were disappointed with the fairness of the result. One of the aspirant in Leh Masood, who had qualified the previous mains twice and this time could not qualify it, said that due to the faulty system of exam the deserving candidates always kept out of the race. Another candidates in Jammu Munawar says the absence of scaling and moderation system, which is present there in UPSA civil service exams, the state civil service exam is unfair. The candidates with certain particular subject like Urdu got easily qualified while certain subject like Geography, Zoology etc made difficult in order to keep away certain section of candidates from the race intentionally. He further says that this time the political intervention seem to be there in the selection procedure that why most of the candidates with Urdu as their subject got qualified as compared to other subjects. The aggrieved candidates have sough government intervention to redress their issue without only concentrating on one particular region.
