| Food establishments directed to procure licenses | | | JAMMU, OCTOBER 28 - All the Licensing Authorities under the Prevention of Food Adulteration (PFA) Act are hereby impressed upon to implement the directions issued by the High Court in letter and spirit.
All food establishments in the state are advised to procure licenses for manufacturer, sale of food articles covered under PFA Act and fee be deposited into the government treasury as per the notification of the government. Un-licensed established shall be booked under rules.
All Licensing Authorities under PFA Act are further requested that they must incorporate the fee deposited by the vendor on the body of the licenses granted or renewed by them alongwith other details of the licenses for verification on spot.
