JJSF concerned over discrimination with Jammu region | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 1: Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) today held protest demonstration against both center and the state government. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that activists of JJSF gathered at main gate of college and raised slogans. Addressing the gathering, State vice-President of JJSF Partap Singh Jamwal said that package announced by center government is only in favor of separatist and anti-national elements. He further said that the government is discriminating with Jammu region for the last 62 years and giving benefit to Kashmir in every field whether economically, socially or educationally. Jamwal added that both state and central governments have crossed all limits of discrimination which are affecting both students and people of Jammu region. He said that Jammu bandh was only the start of agitation against discrimination. After this, JJSF activists burnt effigy of central government and raised slogans against it. Others who were present on the occasion included Amandeep Singh, Arminder Singh Shanky, Vishal Sadhotra, Mohammed Arif, Mohammed Ashraf, Yogesh Talwar, Balak Ram Chib, Rahul Ghai and Rahul Sharma, etc
