| Cong applauds people for maintaining communal harmony | | |

Jammu, Oct 1: Congress today said that ex-minister thanked people for maintaining communal harmony and said that the people of country have shown maturity and respect for judiciary by accepting the verdict of High court in Ajodhya issue.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that a meeting of Congress workers was organized in Vijaypur. The meeting was presided over by Block president of congress Capt Amarnath Bhatti while ex- Minister Manjit Singh was Chief Guest. Others who attended the meeting included Dr. Satpal, Babbal Gupta, Hajo Hashim ali, harnam Singh, Shamsher Singh, Goutam Singh, Salim Choudhary, Saindass Bhagat, Swarn Singh, Mohinder Pal sharma, Varinder Sharma and Bharat Bhushan.
Manjit Singh thanked people for maintaining communal harmony and said that the people of the country have shown maturity and respect for judiciary by accepting verdict of High court in Ayodhaya issue. He also urged party workers to remain united and work for down-trodden sections of the society. Ex-Minister Manjit Singh asked workers to get ready for Panchayat elections also.
