Agriculture daily wagers hold protests | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 1: All J&K Agriculture Daily Wagers Union today observed a strike to lodge protest against the delaying policy of the government towards daily wagers regarding their regulisation who were engaged before 1994. The union leaders show great resentment over the government negative attitude towards daily wagers of the department and reminded the commitment of the government with JCC/EJAS leaders in which the government has promised to prepare the road map in three months but after the lapse of about six months no action has been taken. The union leaders also flays the government policy towards Jammu region by using different yard sticks, the live example is that two files of DRWS of 65s and 26s engaged before 1994 are still lying pending in the administrative department for removal of contonotion of breaks. The agriculture employee association led by Uttam Chand Sharma President and S. Amrik Singh, Parshotam Sharma members JCC/EJAC also supported the DRWS union leaders call and apple the government to immediate full fil the demands of DRW/Casual labours and government employees. The union leaders who addressed the gathering were Rajan Sharma, Rajinder Kumar, Kamalpreet Singh, Dalbir Singh, Tara Singh, Rakesh Kumar and Parveen Kumar.
