Malik reviews progress on establishment of JKSOEC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Oct 2: Minister for Higher Education Labour and Employment Abdul Gani Malik today convened a meeting and reviewed progress achieved in establishing J&K State Overseas Employment Corporation (JKSOEC). Minister was briefed about the progress achieved so far in establishing the Corporation. The State Government has already deposited the requisite fee with the Registrar of Companies, Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Consequent upon acceptance of the fee by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the necessary certification for its incorporation will be issued by the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Malik was briefed about the progress achieved in establishing the Liaison offices at New Delhi and Mumbai. The Managing Director of the corporation has already identified a number of locations in New Delhi which fall along the route of Delhi Metro Railways. He directed Director to proceed to New Delhi for short listing the convenient places falling along the Delhi Metro route so that office is easy accessible for the prospective candidates who will move out from the State for seeking the jobs within and outside country. Minister also took the stock of various requirements of the Corporation at different stages once the incorporation is done. He also instructed that the next meeting of the Board of Directors after the incorporation, will debate on various issues related to the Corporation. The Secretary, Labour and Employment and Director Employment who is also the Managing Director participated in the meeting.
