Scouts-Guides’ Cycle rally to leave for Delhi today | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, October 02: Organised by the New Delhi based National Headquarters of Bharat Scouts and Guides, the National Integration Awareness Cycle Rally will be flagged off for Delhi here tomorrow at 9.30 am. This was decided in a well attended inaugural function organised for tomorrow’s flag off ceremony wherein all the 153 senior Scouts and Guides as also Rovers and Rangers, who are above 18 years of age from all over the country, were among other distinguished gathering present. In today’s inaugural function, organised by State unit of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Editor-in-Chief of English daily State Times, Raj Daluja was chief guest. He interacted with the members of the rally and also encouraged and complimented them for the noble cause. Earlier, State chief commissioner of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, NA Khan welcomed the distinguished gathering. He said that the J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides Association feel obliged and conveys its sense of gratitude and thankfulness to heads of various educational institutions for extending a helping hand to the organization. Later, Nasreen Khan, state commissioner (G) presented vote of thanks. Meanwhile, as per the organizers, the rally would be jointly flagged off tomorrow at 9.30 am for Delhi by Deputy Inspector General of Police Jammu, Farooq Khan and NA Khan.
