Madan donates ambulance to DSS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 2: Dehati Sewa Sanstha (DSS) celebrated the Gandhi Jyanti as International non-violence day at RS Pura today. On the occasion, a cultural programme was organised wherein participants enthralled the audience with their mesmerizing performances. Rich tributes were also paid to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary. Addressing the gathering, chief guest Member of Parliament Madan Lal Sharma said he will leave no stone unturned in getting the various centrally sponsored schemes for the benefit of people. Senior Congress leader Hari Singh and President Mandli Mitran Di Mukherjit Sharma also spoke on the occasion and paid tributes to the father of nation. On the occasion, Madan Lal donated an ambulance to Dehati Sewa Sanstha out of his Member Parliament Local Area Development Fund (MPLAD) beside felicitating singing sensation Satinder Shanu, who has shot to fame for his achievement in a TV show. Chairman J&K Cooperative Union Rajesh Bittu presided over the proceedings of the function. Earlier, Madan Lal Sharma reviewed the pace of work of the construction of a Gurudwara and Community Hall coming up out his MPLAD at Simbal Camp.
