| Teacher booked in rape case | | | RS PURA: A government middle school teacher was alleged to have outraged the modesty of an 8th class student of his school at Kaloyan near here.
Police sources said Kuldip Singh, son of Mulkh Raj of Langranwali, RS Pura, was posted in government middle school at Kaloyan few months back.
Soon after he was posted in the school, he allegedly developed an affair with an 8th class student of Kaloyan. He was also alleged to have outraged her modesty, the sources added.
After the girl brought the matter to the notice of her parents, they lodged a report with the RS Pura police station in this regard. Sources said police has registered a case under section 376 of RPC against the teacher, who was absconding. |
