| Free eye check up camp held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3: A free eye check up camp was organised by All J&K Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha at Sabha premises Krishna Nagar.
The eye camp held under the supervision of Dr Sanjat Kumar Bhasin, Dr Srishri Raj, assistant Prof, PGI MIER Chandigarh, Dr Sanjay Kai, Dr Rashmi, Dr Manju from GMC, Jammu Dr Rajinder and Amin Chand Attri.
Over 350 patients having different eye problems were examined by the eye specialist and necessary medicines were also distributed to the patients while 32 patients were screened for cataract, surgery and necessary instruction were given to them.
As many as 10 patients were referred to GMC Jammu and 5 patients to PGI MER (Chandigarh) for highly specialised eye check ups.
Piran Ditta, president of the Sabha thanked all the doctors, paramedical staff and others who helped in organising the camp in successful manner.
