| Future IKONS 2011 conducts 5th annual inter-school contest | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3: IKONS Educational System the IIT-PMT Academy has conducted its 5th Annual Inter School Competition ‘Future IKONS 2011’ for the students of Class 9th -12th . More than 100 schools from in and around Jammu participated and nearly 8000 students took part in this one of its kind Inter School Competition.
The competition was held in two categories, in the senior category students of class 11th and I2th took the examination which was designed on the pattern of various competitive level examination of India like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, A1IMS, AFMC and JKCET. In the Junior category, class 9th and 10th took the exam on the pattern of Math’s and Science Olympiad.
This completion was organised on the 7th foundation day of IKONS Mutational System in Jammu. This was stated by Kunal Anand, Chairman, IKONS Group of Educational Institutions.
He also said that this year the response is the best of all the five year and the competition was held not just in Jammu but also at Miran Sahib, Vijaypur and. Samba.
The inter school competition results shall be declared later and top rankers from among these candidates shall be honored. There will be top three honours along with 10 runners up prizes for the successful winners of the competition in each category. IKONS also organized a poll for the Best Most Popular Teacher .
Among others who were present to conduct the competitions were Vivek Sheel Director IKONS, Rashim Anand Jt Director IKONS, Amiradha Koul CEO IKONS, Ropinder Kour Principal, Priya Malhotra Centre Manager and Rajesh Katiyar Director Academics.
