Udhampur, Oct 3: As part of environmental awareness programme and to expose the children of J&K, Army organized an educational and motivational tour for senior school
students of Mawar Valley to visit various places of historical and tourist interest around Ooty, Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore. The fourteen days long tour was flagged in at an impressive ceremony. Apart from visiting various places of interest, the children were given an opportunity to interact and share their views with commandant of The Madras Regimental Centre/ Defence Service Staff College. A visit to India Gate, Infosys, Birla Planetarium, Golden Beach were the most exciting moments for these young ones. The fourteen days long tour left on indelible impression on the minds of these young children.
