| BJP celebrates Pt Din Dayal’s anniversary | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Oct 3: As a part of ongoing celebrations of the birth anniversary of its leader Pt Din Dayal Upadhyay, an impressive programme was organised at Garhi, Udhampur by Jaganoo Mandal, BJP.
BJP State Vice-President Pawan Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion.
While paying rich tributes to Pt Upadhyay, Pawan Gupta said that his life is a real source of inspiration for us, especially the youth, because despite possessing higher degree of qualification, he spent most of his life for the upliftment of the poor and for the welfare of the people as well as the nation as a whole.
Throwing light on the great vision of Pt Upadhyay, Gupta said that he was the one who believed in the concept of "ANTYODYA" which means upliftment of the last man standing in the last row of the society.
He was of the view that a society and nation can prosper only by way of upliftment of the last man standing in the last row of the society.
Gupta further said that Pt Upadhyay was a true visionary who always thought of the common man. He believed in the ideology of nationalism. While making an appeal to the youth activists who were present in large numbers, Pawan Gupta stressed on the need to follow the foot-steps of Pt Upadhyay, and work day and night for the upliftment of the poor and the needy so that we can build a strong & prosperous nation.
