| Amandeep murder: Court fixes Oct 13 for further arguments | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 4: The 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu, Vinod Chatterji Koul today adjourned the much publicized murder case of Amandeep Singh s/o Adv Deepinder Kour, former MLC, which took place on August 29, 2009, fixed October 13, 2010 for further arguments on framing charge, as the BAJ suspended the work to condole the death an advocate.
All the accused namely Jatinder Singh alias Raja, Royal Singh, then SSP Manohar Singh, then SHO Sultan Mirza, Sub-Inspector Satnam Singh, Battastic Expert FSL Sujat Bukari, Constable Raj, Choudhary Nagar Singh, Choudhary Rakesh Singh, except Choudhary Jagar Singh were present in custody whereas Choudhary Jaggar was present with his counsel.
It is worthwhile to mention here on August 29, 2009 the murder of Amandeep Singh s/o former MLC & Advocate presently PDP Leader Deepinder Kour. The main accused Jatinder Singh s/o Choudhary Nagar Singh was arrested on August 30, 2009 and accused Royal Singh was also arrested and later weapon of offence was recovered from them. It was alleged that the weapon of offence was allegedly changed by the Choudhary brothers by hatching criminal conspiracy with the police officers and FSL officials. However, all the police officials & FSL officials were arrested in fudging of evidence whereas the Choudhary brothers surrendered before the Court on November 17, 2009.
