| Court fixes Oct 23 in Chopra family murder case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 4: Principal Sessions Judge, Jammu, AK Shan fixed October 23, 2010 for arguments on charge in much publicized murder case of Cement Tycoon RB Chopra and his wife Madhu Chopra, daughter Saloni Chopra, servant Sonu and driver Jagan Nath, on September 18, 2006 in which a Special Investigation team was constituted.
SIT arrested eight alleged accused involved in the said brutal murder in the history of Jammu City in which one of the alleged accused made approver and whose statement the king-pin of Pradhi Gang Sangram Singh and his Kiran Pradhi was declared absconder and General Arrests Warrants were issued against them. Later on Sangram Singh was produced by the Guna on the direction of Court and Sessions Courts Jammu handed over the Sangram Singh to J&K Police for investigation, but police has failed to extract requisite information from Sangram Singh during custodial interrogation and seeking consent of the Narco Test and the consent was given by the Sangram Singh and today after narco test, Sangarm Singh was also produced in the Court, but police has not produced supplementary challan in the case.
