Soldier goes bersek, yet again

A soldier was killed while another was seriously injured when one of their colleagues went bersek and opened fire on them after heated arguments late on Saturday night in Udhampur.
According to defence spokesman, a soldier of Signals Regiment Satyam Kumar shot dead Havaldar Padamrajan and injured signalman Balwan Singh after he had an argument with the former on Saturday night while on duty.
Sources in police department also confirmed that Kumar had a verbal duel with Padamrajan over some security issue before he opened fire killing Padamrajan on the spot and injuring Singh.
A court of enquiry has been ordered by the army in this connection and case of murder has been booked against Satyam Kumar. Kumar was later handed over to police for detailed investigations.
