| HP Ex-servicemen League donates relief to Leh victims | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 4:Pained by the magnitude of the Leh disaster, the Himachal Pradesh Ex-servicemen League, with its head office at Dharamshala, undertook a campaign to collect woolen clothing for the victims.
President of the Ex-Serviceman league, Major Vijay Singh Mankotia (Retd), contacted Rising Star Corps for assisting in sending the consignment to Leh.
The Rising Star corps thereafter collected and sorted all the clothing and the items totaling 49 packages were forwarded to Leh.
The relief material was further handed over to District Administration Leh as a token of empathy from people of Himachal Pradesh.
