| Symposium on Gandhian studies hold at MAM College | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 4: An inter-collegiate symposium was organized by the Gandhian Studies Centre of govt. MAM College on the topic ‘Relevance of Gandhian Philosophy in the Present Day World. While Director Colleges Development Prof. Rajiv Gupta was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Prof. Gupta in his address said that Mahatma Gandhi’s life should serve as a role model for the youth of today and Dr. Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of the participants and exhorted them to imbibe Gandhian Philosophy in their daily lives as it was the need of the hour. Dr. Twinkle Suri, Director, Gandhian Studies Centre, welcomed the participants and deliberated on the gospels of Gandhi and asking the students to practice them and carry forward the peace message in order to make such programmes meaningful. Polina Singh from GCW Gandhi Nagar, Kokila Sharma from SPMR College of Commerce and Kokila Kohli, GCW, Gandhi Nagar won the first second and third prizes respectively.
