| Distt Level Science exhibition begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Oct 4: A two-day long District Level Science Exhibition organized by DIET Basholi commenced here today at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Town Hall.
The 24 the edition of the exhibition was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner Kathua Sanjeev Verma. In the science exhibition more than two hundred schools participated to demonstrate their respective models related to water harvesting, solar energy, communication etc.
The students of various schools demonstrated the models and explained their importance as well as uses for the development of society.
DDC interacted with various model holding students and appreciated the standard of models displayed by the schools.
He said that all the models are providing better ideas to uplift the development works of the society and also depicting the talents and IQ level of the students. He also appreciated the CEO and entire staff of the schools who presented informative models.
DDC directed the Chief Education Officer to pick up the specific models for more and more publicity for the interest of nation. On the occasion, CEO Kathua KK Gupta, EO Municipal Council Harbans Singh, DPO Dhantar Singh and Manohar Lal were also present.
