| PSU employees, workers federation holds meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: A meeting of Public Sector employers and workers federation under the chairmanship of Amrik Singh Sasan, president to convey unclenched support to the state government headed by Omar Abdullah. As per the promise, the state government had committed to make a roadmap by September-2010 to pave a way fro payment of arrears of 6th pay commission to the state government employees as well as public sector employees but nothing has been heard from government. The meeting hoped that pending demands will be fulfilled which include enhancement of retirement from 58 to 60 yrs, payment of arrears of 6th pay commission, regularization of daily rated consolidated, Adhoc contractual workers, pensionary benefits for PSU’s waiver of conditions etc.
