At least 12 persons, including three soldiers, were injured as militants hurled a grenade on a security vehicle at Sopore in Baramulla District today.
The device was tossed towards the vehicle of 47th battalion of BSF at around 12.45 pm in the main chowk of Sopore, 55 kms from here, injuring three BSF personnel and nine civilians, officials said here.
The injured were rushed to hospital, they said adding the area was immediately sealed by security forces.
No militant outfit has owned responsibility for the attack so far.
