| Carvan-e-Aman returned from Rajasthan Tour | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 5: General Officer Commanding, Ace of Spades Division flagged in ‘Carvan-e-Aman’, a tour for elders in a vibrant ceremony held at Rajouri today. The tour, which was organized under Operation Sadbhavana by Tithwal Brigade, consisted of 26 persons including village elders and persons from Gujjar & Bakarwal Community.
The persons were selected from the remote and underdeveloped areas of Rajouri District.
The elders visited various cities including Jaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, Udaipur & Mount Abu. ‘Carvan-e-Aman’, offered opportunity to the village elders to visit places of historical, cultural and religious importance at Jaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Mount Abu. The elders also utilized the tour to interact with locals of Rajasthan in their dhanies (Hutments) and have a glimpse of its rich and varied culture.
On the occasion of flagging in, General Officer Commanding, Ace of Spades Division expressed satisfaction that the tour has contributed significantly towards furthering the twin causes of peace and national integration amongst the locals in the area.
