| Dr Nirmolak brings laurels for J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: Dr. Nirmolak Singh, Senior Sports Medicine specialist, presently working with Department of Orthopedics, Govt. Medical College Jammu has been appointed on the Medical Jury of the boxing event of Common Wealth Games -2010, New Delhi. Other doctor on medical jury is Dr. Johannes Jacobus Vilonel from South Africa. Dr. Singh who is a former international footballer has given this assignment by International Boxing Association owing to his vast experience and knowledge in the sport of boxing and boxing competitions.
294 boxers from 50 Common Wealth countries are participating in the boxing event which will be held from 5-13 Oct 2010. 198 bouts will be played during the competition in ten weight categories.
