JAMMU, Oct 5: Organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, the annual inter-college men’s wrestling competitions shall start from October seven at Gymnasium Hall, here.
The competition in eight different weight categories shall commence at 12 noon under the guidance of experts from the field. The eight weight categories to be decided in this two-day meet shall be 50 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 66 kg, 74 kg, 84 kg, 96 kg and 120 kg.
Women wrestling from Oct 9
Meanwhile, the inter-college women’s wrestling meet shall take place on the campus on October nine from 12 noon onwards. The competitions shall be held in seven weight categories of 48 kg, 51 kg, 56 kg, 59 kg, 63 kg, 67 kg and 72 kg.
