Army flags in all India educational tour

Rajouri, Oct 5: At least 25 youth of Rajouri-Poonch and Reasi districts returned from All India tour sponsored by army to boost the morale of the youth of far-flung areas who remained affected due to militancy in the area.
The educational tour was flagged in at Budhal by Officiating Commander, Rashtriya Rifles.
Giving details, army sources said that the tour had first halt at Kolkata, where they visited Nakhoda Masjid, West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Ravindra Setu, Howrah Bridge, Vidya Sagar Setu, Victoria Memorial, St Pauls Cathedral, Dakshineswet Temple and Bleur Math. They also vited Science City, Birla Planetarium, Botanical Garden, Zoological Garden, Indian Museum and had ride on Tram & Metro.
The tour started off for Silliguri, their next destination. They interacted with General Officer in Commanding of 33 Corps and visited Madhuban Park, Iscon Temple, Mahandi Wild Life Sanctury.
The GoC of Northern Command urged the youth to spread message of importance of education when they returned home.
