| Lok Adalat takes up 408 cases, settles 390 cases | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: A Permanent Lok-Adalat was held today held in the District Court Complex, Janipur, Jammu under the chairmanship of AK Shan Principal District and sessions Judge, Jammu, who is also Chairman District legal Service Authority. The three Benches were constituted in this Lok Adalat in which 408 cases taken and 390 cases decided in which three lac was awarded.
Bench No 1 comprising AK Shan, Principal District and Sessions Judge and also Chairman District Legal Services and Sanjeev Bhagat, Additional Matrimonial District Judge to deal with the matrimonial case and taken up 4 cases settled all the four case and Rs 3, 00, 000 was awarded as Permanent alimony.
Bench No 2 comprised M.S. Parihar CJM Jammu and YP Kotwal Special Mobile Magistrate Passenger Tax, this bench taken up 48 cases and settled 30 cases.
Bench NO 3 presided over by Khalil Ahmed Choudhary Special Mobile Magistrate Traffic Jammu, this Bench taken up 356 traffic cases and disposed of all the 356 cases.
