Bhim demands resignation of CM | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 5: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, JKNPP and Member, National Integration Council (NIC) has accused Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for working in violation against the Constitution by openly advocating the secessionist philosophy of Hurriyat Conference (G) by asking resolution of J&K issues thus infringing the constitutional mandate. Prof. Bhim Singh demanded immediate dismissal of Omar Abdullah if he does not resign voluntarily. Prof. Bhim Singh said that Omar Abdullah is riding twin horses, that of the BJP in Delhi and Hurriyat in Kashmir for the reasons that should be understood by the echelons of power sitting in the South and the North Blocks with blind-folded eyes. Prof. Bhim Singh said that BJP’s no confidence motion in J&K Legislature was sponsored by Omar Abdullah only to give impression that he enjoyed confidence and support of the majority of the Legislators in J&K. On the other hand there are no stone-throwing incidents, no long strikes and no killing since the Assembly Session is on. This clearly shows that the entire drama of stone-throwing from strikes, hartals and curfews was stage managed show of the Chief Minister and National Conference only to browbeat the Centre and exploit the innocent helpless Kashmiris. Prof. Bhim Singh said that appointment of the so-called interlocutors is another attempt to prolong the political tenure of the Chief Minister by giving him artificial doses of oxygen. Prof. Bhim Singh strongly opposed the appointment of interlocutors from the political parties and unemployed politicians of Congress and CPM who have been playing in the hands of the forces which intend to dissect Kashmir from the rest of the country. Prof. Bhim Singh called on the people of Jammu and Kashmir particularly the youth to understand the dangerous plot of the ruling alliance in J&K to demolish peace and democracy so that they can rule till eternity
