Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 5: The Jammu and Kashmir is likely to publish encyclopedia on Duggar culture soon. This was stated by Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary, Divisional Office, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Jammu. She said that the encyclopedia of Duggar Culture was not meant to stand on the book-shelf, but for constant use on the work table of students, researchers and teachers, as well as for educated laymen who want to know about Duggar Culture. “Almost all possible subjects pertaining to various aspects of Duggar Culture shall be covered in this Encyclopedia,’’ she added. The principal topics which shall be covered are literature, folk art, history, geography , languages, holy places, ,personalities, visual art, performing arts, tradition, folk fauna, folk deities, music . Dr. Gian Singh ,Additional Secretary (Editorial) the encyclopedia of Duggar after its completion shall also be translated into other modern languages so that this could be reach to the wider, he added . In the initial stage, stalwarts of the Dogri have been engaged as an experts to prepare the same. the prominent are;- Prof. Nilamber Dev Sharma, Prof Ved Ghai, Sh. Mohan Singh, Dr. Lalit Magotra, Prof. Sat Paul, Dr. Jatinder Udhampuri , Dr. Om Vidharthi, Sh. D.K. Vaid, Prof. Archana Kesar, Sh. Desh bhandu Dogra Nutan, Prof. Shiv Nirmohi, Dr. Anil Kumar, Sh. Shiv Dev Singh Sushil, Prof. Shiv Dev Manhas, Prof. Veena Gupta, Dr. Om Goswami, Sh. N.D. Jamwal, Sh Ved Rahi, Prof. Posh Charak, Prof. Hari Om.
