| Two students drown in pond | | | JAMMU: Two minor boys, both students of 8th class, drowned in a pond at Bemina Pul in Udhampur today.They were identified as Bharat Bhushan (14), son of Budhi Singh of
T-Morh, and Nadir Alam (14), son of Nissar Ahmad.
Both were students of Bright Carrier Public School, Udhampur. Police said they drowned when they decided to take a dip in the pond on their way homes after the school hours.
Their bodies were fished out by police and removed to hospital where post-mortem was conducted on them. Later, these were handed over to their family members for last rites.
Police had registered a case in this connection. |
