| GDC Kathua organizes workshop on printing, designing | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Oct 6: Home science department of Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua organized a workshop in collaboration with pidilite paints and colours in which about 100 students participated.
Theme of workshop was to train home science students in making colourful printing and designing on fabrics glass and paper. Roohia, Krishna, Sumpreeti were adjudged first, second and third respectively for their best presentations. Principal Government College for women Dr.A.K.Malhotra who was the chief guest on the occasion congratulated the home science department for organizing such a workshop and making the students aware about latest trends in printing and designing.
Principal of the college Dr.Ram Krishan Sharma who presided over the function thanked Pidilite paints and colours for giving an opportunity to the students of home science and making them more talented and in developing their personality. Programme was organized under the guidance of Prof.Sumnesh Jasrotia, Prof. Subita sharma, Prof.Deepika ,Prof.Sonia, Prof. Sandeepa and faculty members of home science department,
