| Rehman reminds CM of granting council | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 6: A general meeting of All Party Hill Development Council (APHDC) Chenab Valley was held at Doda under its Patron Sheikh Abdul Rehman wherein callous attitude and neglect of successive State Governments was regretted.
Meeting said that the delegation of All Party Action Committee also met present Chief Minister several times and reminded him of the promise of granting status of hill development council to Doda. Meeting observed that back-tracking by NC has eroded its credibility. Rehman urged the state government to bring a bill in this behalf in the current brief session of the Assembly so that the people of the area heave a sigh of relief through constitutionally guaranteed mechanism of governance involving public representatives in the formulation of planning and execution.
