JKWF hits out at Cong | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Warriors Front, President, Rajesh Gupta launched a scathing attack on the Congress for “thrusting on the country dynastic politics in the name of GenNext leadership” and claimed that “India, like the USA, is disturbed over political power getting concentrated in the hands of a few families”. “The youth of the country has no future in the Congress . The Congress makes most of its appointments based on the family legacy,” said JKWF President Rajesh Gupta He said: “Compare the Congress’s young leaders — Rahul Gandhi, son of the late Rajiv Gandhi; Jyotiraditya Scindia, son of Madhavrao Scindia; Jatin Prasad; Sachin Pilot etc. Once a senior congress leader Rajesh Gupta claimed that “the primacy of one family posed a danger to the future of the country”. He said. he has given his prime youth to the party and he has served the party more than three decades, but congress never gave importance to loyal workers, adding that Congress needed sycophants, criminals and capitalists. He claimed that while “members of one family had ruled the country for 37 long years,” the last five years of Manmohan Singh’s rule were “power without accountability for the family”. Drawing parallels with the US experience, he said: “Two Bush family members ruled for 12 years. Bill Clinton ruled for eight years. The Americans were disturbed over power getting concentrated in the hands of two families. That’s why they voted for Obama. India, too, is disturbed for similar reasons.” Rajesh Gupta appealed the people of Jammu & Kashmir particularly the youth of the state to take part in active politics to bring a change in the state and in the country.
