Awareness about wildlife conservation highlighted | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 6: With an aim to promote awareness among the youth about Wildlife conservation, and the role of wildlife protected areas in conservation of bio diversity, one day tour of students from various schools were organised by wildlife Department. Around 70 students along with 10 teachers of seven different schools from Jammu city were taken for a Nature Tour to Nandini wildlife sanctuary. These schools included Lawrance Public school Sidhra Jammu, Lawerance Public School Panjtirthi,Govt High School Bithindi Jammu, New Era environmental High school Circular Road Jammu, Govt. High school Ghass Mandi Jammu, Ved Mandir Bal Niketan school Amphalla Jammu, KC International School Akhnoor Road Jammu. On this occasion ,many forest officers including Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Upendra Pachnanda Suresh Gupta, Conservator East Circle Jammu, Tahir Shawl, Wildlife Warden Jammu, Sh.Qammar Din,DFO Jammu and staff of Wildlife Department were present. Raja Sayeed Ahmed Jammu and Majid Bashir (Range Officer, Jammu conducted the tour.
