Omar approach Kashmir centric: BJP
10/6/2010 8:53:46 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 6: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today alleged that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has adopted Kashmir-centric approach and his claim of equal treatment to all three regions is ridiculous.
State spokesperson of BJP Ramesh Arora today said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is out and out for the people of Kashmir and their issues at the cost of Jammu and Ladakh people. Arora said that Omar is not worried over non-functioning of Centre University at Jammu.
Arora further said that Dental College at Jammu is yet to get recognition. Arora warned the state government not to withdraw Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) otherwise militancy will further spread its tentacles in others parts of the state and only Omar Abdullah will responsible for such irresponsible decision. Arora further said that this time BJP is sure to get majority in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council elections and will also see to it that grievances of people are redressed properly. He supported BJP’s demand for granting Union Territory status to Ladakh.
