| JPSETTIA highlights problems of youth | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 6: Jammu Private Schools and ETT Institute Association (JPSETTIA) (Progressive) highlighted the problems of youth in present times here today.
In a statement issued here by the association, its president Deep Singh said that constant involvement of the youth in untoward and anti social activities was a matter of worry for everybody.
While analyzing the facts, he said that it was very much clear that no attention was being given by the elders of the society or persons at the helm of affairs for the welfare of the youth, who are the future of tomorrow.
He further said that in promoting the “Common Wealth Games” has once again confused every Indian as much could have been managed for the youth of the country by just saving a huge amount with some planned & corruption-less expenditures.
He also said that legislation meant for punishments against the adulteration, drugs abuse, copying menace are need of the hour and the rulers without any further delay must show their sincere intentions to fulfill the priority requirements.
Likewise, they must initiate the needed and much delayed youth welfare programs based on sports and encouragement of moral values otherwise all claims of so-called development would be meaningless.
