JAMMU, Oct 6: A junior commissioned officer (JCO) of army was apprehended by police at the railway station here last evening along with grenades and sharp-edged weapons.Police sources said Subedar Kul Bahadur Singh Rana of Nepal was caught by police at the railway station here last evening after he
was found in possession of explosives and sharp-edged weapons. Three grenades, 12 gelatin sticks, a fuse and three khokris were recovered from him, the sources added.The explosives, concealed in his luggage, were detected by a scanner at the railway station. He was at present posted with 12 Gorkha
Rifles at Jourian in Akhnoor. A case had been registered against him and his interrogation was on. |
