1 Pak, 4 Bangladeshi nationals held on IB | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 6: A Pakistani and four Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by alert BSF troops from three different places on the International Border (IB).A BSF spokesman said a Pak national infiltrated into the Indian territory from Manguchak area at about 7.10 pm Tuesday. However, an ambush party of 182 Bn of BSF caught hold of him when he reached the fencing, he added. During questioning, he identified himself as Mohammad Tariq Teri (32), son of Abdul Majid of Harbarpura in Lahore, Pakistan. Nothing incriminating was recovered from him. The spokesman said three Bangladeshis were held by an ambush party of 122 Bn of BSF from Makwal area.They were identified as Mohammad Bashir, son of Usman Ali (30), Bhugan (20), son of Shamshul, and Zahir Alam (25), son of Ahad Ali. 1,120 Indian currency notes were recovered from them.One Bangladeshi was held by BSF from another area of Makwal. He was identified as Mukhtiar (35), son of Abdul Munna. A cellphone and Rs 60 in Indian currency were recovered from him.The spokesman said all the four Bangladeshi nationals were trying to exfiltrate to Pakistan when they were apprehended by the BSF men. |
