Minority community observed bandh in Kishtwar | Four Spo’s terminated from service for negligence of duty | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Udhampur Oct 7: The shops and business establishment of minority communities in Kishtwar and Padder area of district remained closed today on the call given by Sanatan Dharam Sabha against the theft of idol of ‘Bal Gopal Lord Krishna from Gori Shanker temple, Sarkoot area late last night . The activists of the Sanatan Sabha held protest demonstration and raised slogans against administration for failing to protect temples and shrines. They demanded early recovery of the idol which was stolen last night from temple despite presence of security personnel deployed for the security of temple premises .
Sabha president, Raj Kumar Badyal showing concern over theft of idol has appealed administration to immediately trace idol to restore faith of minority community and punish guilty involved in such heinous crime Meanwhile, SSP Kishtwar has terminated services of four SPO’S posted at temple for negligence of duty and has constituted a team under the supervision of DYSP Dr Sunil Gupta to trace the missing idol . He has also appealed people to cooperate so that miscreants involved in such act could be arrested .
