IDPD organizes interactive session on peace

Jammu, Oct 7: Indian Doctors for peace and development (IDPD) J&K organized an interactive session on peace at ASCOMS Hospital. Giving on overview of the situation in North East India, Dr.Nava Singh, Vice President, IDPD and former Health Minister Manipur, said that effective measures to integrate the region to prevent violence from further escalating. There has been a long term neglect of the regions development which is rich in natural resources. The PDS is virtually non-existent due to which people are staring. He further said that the IDPD is doing its best to educate the people for non-violence and demands check on the proliferation of small arms and abolition of nuclear weapons. Dr.Rajesh Kumar, President IDPD Jammu and Dr.S.S Soodan, Vice President IDPD was also present on the occasion.
