| Sangarsh Samiti condemns Omar’s remarks | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 7: Convenor of Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti, Brig Suchet Singh has condemned the anti-national remarks made by Chief Minister in state assembly.
He said it was a matter of concern that Omar Abdullah was creating anti-national atmosphere and making speeches like separatists Geelani in Kashmir.
They said the statement that he had made in assembly that J&K has not merged with India is the total violation of Constitution of India. By raising question about accession he has adopted the path of anti-nationals, they added.
They also demanded that Omar Abdullah should be arrested for making anti-India statement in state assembly.
Brig Singh questioned the Congress MLA's and their ministers about their silence when Omar Abdullah was making anti-India statement in assembly, he said their silence shows that they have sold the interests of the nation before Omar Abdullah.
He said "Omar has no right to continue sitting on the chief minister's chair. There is no difference between his and the statements. of anti-nationals in Kashmir"
Omar's statement also added, "J&K had not merged with the Union but acceded to it under an agreement. I dare Omar Abdullah for debate on the issue of Accession of J&K with India’’.
