| Tarigami raises passport issue | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu,Oct 7: CPI (M) member, Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami while speaking in the Legislative Assembly today urged Omar Abdullah to issue passports to the relatives of former militants.
"Many people have been denied travel documents for involvement of their relatives in militancy. They want to go out for jobs or business. Denying passports to them will do no good to the state", he said.
Hashim Qureshi's brother, Muhammad Aslam has been denied passports. The irony is that Hashim Qureshi possesses an Indian passport", he said. |
