| NSS volunteers organises Peace Rally | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 8: A Peace rally was taken out by the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers in the University Campus today. This rally was in constitution to the series of activities organized to celebrate “Gandhi Jayanti Week”. On the occasion of birthday of Mahatma Gandhi on the direction of Vice-Chancellor of JU Prof. Varun Sahni.
The rally was organizes in collaboration with the Directorate of Students Welfare, University of Jammu on ‘Peace Harmony’ and Non-Violence.
In the rally 300 NSS Volunteers from NSS units of different University Department, Colleges and schools participated in the rally. Registrar, University of Jammu Dr. P S Pathania flaged off the rally Prof. N K Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Naresh Padha, Chairman (NSS units Campus), Prof. Jasbir Singh, Programme Coordinator, NSS, Dr. Anurpurna Vohra, Dr. Vishav Raksha NSS volunteers including Vaneet, Arif, Anil, Sumit and Sandeep, were present on the occasion. |
