Key recommendations included the soliciting of non-bureaucratic nominations from the public; the holding of a public hearing so that citizens can voice their expectations of the commissioners, the release of a shortlist of candidates; the disclosure of a well-defined timeframe for making the appointments;
The delegation included Dr Shah Faisal, Raman Sharma, Haw Nawaz Nehru, Ayaz Mughal, Balvinder Singh, Shaikh Ghulam Rasool, Sultan Shahnawaz and Satyarth Pandit.
