Anti-national appeasement continues: Sangarsh
10/8/2010 11:11:55 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 8: Lamba-sting the state government and Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) over the recently declared result of Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) mains examination, General Secretary-cum- Spokesperson of the Sangarsh Suresh Kumar said that the unending process of sabotaging the genuine aspirations of Jammu people has become a continuous process.
Addressing a press conference, Suresh Kumar said that the discrimination and injustice have become the twin tools to marginalize Jammu youth and the nationalist minorities of the state.
He said that the recent declaration of KAS result has indicated how the people from Kashmir are appeased for being anti-national and anti-social. On the other hand the nationalists are excluded by making their presence least in the competitive exam. The recent list of KAS reflects the deep rooted conspiracy to eliminate the youth of Jammu from State Civil Services so that all the levels of administration are controlled by the antinational human resources.
Suresh said that this deliberate exclusion of Jammu youth and other minorities from KAS list reinforces our demand for the political reorganization of J&K which includes separate Jammu state, homeland with Union Territory status in Valley for Kashmiri Pandits, Union Territory status to Ladakh and one time settlement of 1947 PoK and West Pakistan refugees.
We demand direct intervention of Central government in the enquiry regarding the bungling in the recent KAS list. There is an urgent need to establish enquiry Commission headed by a retired judge of the highest level, Suresh added. Besides this, Suresh also demanded for the establishment of separate JKPSC for Jammu region until the demand of political reorganization of the state take place.
Also addressing the media persons, Meenakshi Anand, Vice President Sangarsh, said 'while the stone pelting youth from Kashmir are rewarded with a package of Rs 5 lakh each, the Jammu youth are excluded from KAS mains beside other nationalist minorities'.
