Court work suspended to protest CM's remarks | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 8: The work in High Court and subordinate courts here remained suspended in response to a call given by Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) in protest against chief minister Omar Abdullah's remarks on the state and its accession to Union of India. The BAJ described the CM's utterances as "antinational and blasphemous". BAJ general secretary Rajesh Thappa said the CM's statement was "damaging and demoralizing". "BAJ warns such type of leaders and the state government to desist from making such statement," he asserted. He demanded registration of a case under the 'sedition charges' against Omar Abdullah for his remarks on J&K state, challenging its accession with India.
