| Camp Incharge Bagh-e Bahu suspended | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU,Oct 8: On the first day of nine-day long Navratra festival, DIG Jammu-Kathua Range Farooq Ahmed Khan made a surprise visit around the Bahu Fort temple and during his thorough checking of the deployed police contingent, he found the Camp Incharge of the Bahu temple absent from duty. Taking a serious view, DIG Khan placed the Camp Incharge Inspector Surinder Singh Khadyal No. 3993/NGO under suspension for dereliction of duty.
There are adequate security arrangements for smooth and peaceful festival of Navratras across the Jammu region . The influx of pilgrims is expected to swell during coming days which would require Jammu Police to maintain highest possible alert. |
