JK Bank would focus on customer satisfaction: CEO

Srinagar, Oct 9: Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) Officer’s Association Kashmir Unit organized a function at corporate office to welcome their chairman and CEO. Chairman and CEO Mustaq Ahmed addressed the function and said that, “Customer satisfaction, capacity building of available HR, and punctuality would be some of the key areas of his immediate focus in the bank”.
He also thanked the gathering for their profuse affection and love. He also extended his gratitude for the anchor of the function Shabir Malik General Secretary Officers’ Association for welcoming him as one amongst them.
He further said that, “I have always taken pride in being a respectable member of JK Bank family. Such a tribute reflects real respect and recognition of my personal sentiments.”
Commissioner Secretary Finance Sudhanshu Pandey (IAS), who was also present on the occasion, said that the government attaches highest importance to the bank.
Lauding the bank as an extraordinary organization, he said, “History stands witness to the fact that the rise and fall of societies and nations has been organically linked to the rise and fall of their financial and economic institutions”.
The bank has a huge reservoir of talent that needs to be exploited fully in order to take lead over all the other such institutions in the region, he added.
Summing up the function, President Officers’ Association Shahzad Teli, in his uniquely inimitable way, expressed the delight and warmth that all the officers and staff had felt in their hearts when they received their own family member as their Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Our families and future are tied to this institution and we will leave no stone unturned to extend our full and irreversible co-operation in taking this Bank ahead with pride and perfection, he added.
Earlier, Shabir Malik gave a quite impressive overview of the hopes and expectations on behalf of the Officers’ Association.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) today in today inaugurated a temporary Foreign Exchange counter at the Haj House, Srinagar just in order to the outgoing Hajj piligrims with foreign exchange facility
Chairman and CEO, Mushtaq Ahmad inaugurated the counter before the departure of the first batch of Hajj pilgrims. The bank also made arrangements for the light refreshment of the Hajis who were to leave for holy pilgrimage to Mecca
