| ACC limited launched Ashwamegh Bus | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, October 9: ACC limited has embarked upon a novel scheme of reaching to the people desirous of constructing building and homes with a state of art information carried in a bus named ACC Ashwamegh.
Naveen Anand, C&F of the ACC limited for J&K who presided over the function inaugurated the Ashwamegh Bus with a message for the clients to take maximum use of the new technology being disseminated in Individual Home concept.
Speaking on the launching ceremony of the Bus , Vimal Kumar, manager ACC limited said that the attempt has been mooted to take the information at the door steps of the clients so that they can get detailed information about the material and other allied items used in the construction of the houses and the buildings.
The Bus Ashwamegh was electronically loaded with LCD and other audio and visual parts that disseminated information about the quality and quantity used in construction purposes.
Also the Bus contained building material display that was shown to the masons, contractors and customers to guide them about the actual ratios of materials used in right perspective to make the building long lasting and strong.
“We plan to conduct road shows in the entire city as well as on the peripheries of Jammu so that the people who find themselves unable to get right material could take advantage of this display,” said Vimal Kumar, adding that it would serve to the people as well as the contractors and masons to pick the right quality product with right cost.
It is pertinent to mention that ACC limited had opened ACC help last year that was an information programme launched to make the people of region aware about the quality construction.
Besides all ACC cement dealers, all staff and other people desirous of getting the knowledge were present on the occasion.
