| Dogri mushiara held at Marh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, October 9: A large contingent of prominent Dogri poets arrived from Jammu at Marh and many local poets of Marh and from the area around joined them in reading their poems in Mushahira. The programme was immensely enjoyed by the local public which turned up in very large number.
Those who read their poems include Pradyuman Singh Jindrahiya, Dhyan Singh ,Virender Kesar, Nirmal Vinod, Sham Talib,Gianeshwar ,Om Vidyarthi, Surinder Manhas , Randhir Singh Raipuria , Puran Chand Sharma,, Inderjeet Kesar, Darshan Darshi, Lal Chand Gandotra, Shobha Ram Sharma, Khairati Lal, Hans Raj Kharak, Anju Sharma, Prem Nath Radha, Ratan Doshi, Puran Singh and Yash Raina .
Lalit Magotra , who presided over the Mushahira, informed the audience that since last one month this was the third such programme organized by Dogri Sanstha to reach out to Dogri loving public of places outside Jammu city.
Earlier two Mushahiras were held at Udhampur and Akhnoor in collaboration with the local organizations of these places.
These programmes are turning out to be great success and exhibit the enthusiasm of the public about their mother tongue.
Magotra said that Dogri Sanstha is going to hold more such programmes in future.
A book-exhibition of publications of Dogri Sanstha was also held at this occasion.
Veena Gupta, general secretary of Dogri Sanstha conducted the proceedings
of the Mushahira and also gave a brief introduction to the purpose of such programmes in her welcome address.

Puran Chand Sharma, president, Dogri Sahitya Sabha ,Marh thanked the poets who had come from Jammu and local audience for making the programme a grand success.
