| Bankey Behari organizes ‘Navratra festival’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 9: ‘Dharmik Mandal’ of Shri Bankey Behari Gorkha Mandir of sectorl-4, Nanaknagar organizes third Navratra function. The function started with performing of ‘Hawar’ the special event of festival is lying of Hath Jogi Shri Mahant Kailash Giri Ji Maharaj for nine days without water, good and other liquid of any type by sowing ‘Mata’s Khati’ all over hisbody. Swami Ji Mahraj laid at 11am on 8-10-10 in grant of Mata Vashino Devi’s idol installed in temple hall for Navratras which will be immersed in river Chenab on 17th Oct 2010 at 12 noon at Akhnoor Jaipoja Ghat. The Chief Guest of inaugurated of festival was Maha Mandleshwar Shri Mahant Rameshwar Dass Ji Maharaj who lit the Jyoti of Mata Ji to start the inaugural programme.
